"Legio Italiane" - 1993
At midday on the 24. of July there was a fight near Comachio. This fight goes on till deep in the night. And it finished with the alignment by the enemy. Amadis army lost two of his bravest knights. One knight got a strong wound and shod stay at a farmer family. Amadis army shrink with this to twenty knights only to the end of that day.
Legio Italiane was created 1993. It was a work in progress. I made 25 knights (material: fabric, tarred; hight 50 cm).
The first installation-places are around Roma, later on my way to Germany. The last installation take place at the Brenner mountains.
I was taking pictures and videos about this installations.
At the installation-places i left one or more knight`s. So at the end of this project I have no knight left over.
