"Loeschner`s Bucket" - 1993
……….is a video object. The essential element is a wooden washing-machine, built in the 50th,- the grandfather of today's washing-machines. On the machine stands a metal bucket. The mechanism of the machine is replaced by an invisible TV. A circular hole was cut into the wooden lid, which is then completely covered by the bucket. The bottom of the bucket was removed and now when you look into the bucket you will see video.
The topic of the video is about the element water.
The movie is poetic. The 'story' develops from successive cuts of various actions within and with the water. The resulting scenes are full of esprit.
It lasts one hour (without repetitions, it runs as an endless loop 56 minutes Hi8 videotape). The film`s soundtrack mostly is in sync with the pictures; sometimes the original sounds are replaced. There are also silent scenes.
In possession of a private art collection.
